Installation Instructions (New PC)

Once you have downloaded and installed autoVHC on your PC please follow the instructions below

Open My Computer

Open the C: Drive

Open Program Files (x86) or just Program files (dependent on your Windows Version)

Right click the BTC Solutions Folder and click 'Properties'

Click on the security tab and click edit

Highlight the users row in the top box

Tick Allow for Full Control (see below) then click apply and ok x2

Open the BTC Solutions Folder

Open the autoVHC 5.0 Folder

Locate the following files: AutoUpdaterClient

Right click on the file and click ‘Properties’

Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and enter a tick in the box at the bottom ‘Run this program as an administrator’, see below:

If you are prompted for an administrator login during the steps above please contact your IT department

Re-installing autoVHC

If you need to re-install autoVHC due to system issues please follow the steps below

Open Control Panel

Open Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program

Select autoVHC and click unistall

Follow the on-screen prompts to remove autoVHC

Close Control Panel

Open My Computer

Open the C: Drive

Open Program Files (x86) or just Program files (dependent on your Windows Version)

Right click the BTC Solutions Folder and click 'Delete' then Yes

Click the start menu

Type in the search/run box %localappdata% and hit enter

Right click BTC_Solutions_Limited and click 'Delete' then Yes

autoVHC is now removed - To install autoVHC follow the installation instructions at the top of this page
